You gather together over 240 Ladies and a few men! who love to lunch, an ultimate location, two amazing hosts, jazz vibes and a surprise in the form of the Wales rugby captain – mix it all up and what results is in excess of £16,305 raised for Giving to Pink at the Ultimate Ladies lunch, hosted in Principality Stadium on

Friday 30 September.  Bringing the overall running total to a staggering £166,000

Right from the opening drum roll, host Mr Hywel James (of ITV Wales News, Grassroots and Going to Seed Tv series, as well as his agricultural broadcasting fame) captured the mood and had the Ladies in the room fixated with his wit and style. He was beautifully supported by the elegant Heulwen Haf (a colourful, charismatic and a courageous breast cancer survivor, and the face of several popular drama series and films in Wales and as continuity announcer on S4C, fame) who brought her own touch of glamour to the event.

After dining, with a first class lunch and proseco bar, provided by the Stadium Head Chef and team, the Ladies had the Ultimate surprise, when Sam Warburton joined the lunch for an formal chat and Q&A, showing his support to the worthy cause.

To say the mood in the room, when Sam arrived, was fever pitch is an understatement – there was a moment we thought the noise would literally lift the Stadium’s roof!

When things calmed, the Ladies danced the hours away to the jazz vibes of Cue Notes, it really was the only place you wanted to be, before they made their way across to the Ultimate After Party hosted by and at the Park Plaza Hotel.

Thanks go to all those who attended and added to the Giving to Pink fundraising cause. Particular thanks on behalf of Giving to Pink must also go to;
